Our Story
We started with forty beds and one stubborn conviction
In 1984, four consultants pooled their savings to open a small hospital in Hyderabad. The conviction was that most medical error is not a failure of skill but a failure of handover — the scan nobody read, the allergy nobody flagged, the history repeated to six people and heard by none.
Everything since has been an attempt to close those gaps. A single record across every hospital. Tumour boards that meet before the patient is asked to choose. Published outcomes, including the uncomfortable ones.
Forty years on we run 42 hospitals across 18 cities. The conviction has not changed, and neither has the measure of whether it is working: does the person in front of you already know why you are there?

The patient decides
Every plan is presented with its alternatives, its risks and its price before anyone asks for a signature. Informed consent is a conversation, not a form.
Evidence over habit
Protocols are reviewed against published outcomes every quarter. When the evidence changes, so do we — even when the old way is more profitable.
One team, one record
Surgeons, physicians and therapists work from the same chart and meet weekly. You should never have to repeat your history to the next person in the corridor.
Measured in public
Infection rates, readmissions and mortality by procedure are published annually. Numbers we are not proud of are published too.

Forty years, five turning points
1984
A single 40-bed hospital
Opened in Hyderabad with four consultants and a borrowed X-ray machine.
1997
First cardiac programme
The catheterisation lab opens; primary angioplasty becomes available round the clock.
2009
JCI accreditation
The flagship becomes one of the earliest hospitals in the region to meet the standard.
2016
One record across the network
A single electronic chart replaces 18 separate systems. Any hospital, any consultant, same history.
2024
42 hospitals, 18 cities
4.2 million patient interactions a year, with an average consultant response time under 15 minutes.
